Trail summary:
An moderate 3.5 mile path that can be accessed from several different trailheads.
 
Description:
From the mouth of Ogden Canyon, on the north side of Highway 39, the Bonneville Shoreline Trail North climbs northward at a steady grade. After one-half mile, the trail from Hislop Drive (1175 S) comes in from the northwest, and the Trail turns a switchback for the final climb to the Pineview Canal Road (4700 feet). There are excellent views at points along this trail.
 
Remember to respect private property rights and stay away from the open canal.
 
Trailhead location:
Trailheads are at 1180 North Mountain Road; 420 North Harrison Blvd.; at the top of Douglas Street (350 South), at Hislop Drive (1725 E. 1175 S.); and at the mouth of Ogden Canyon.
 
Trail history:
This trail is Ogden's newest section of path that takes its name from the highest shoreline of ancient Lake Bonneville.
