Trail summary:
This trail connects the neighborhoods around Fillmore and 20th Streets to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
 
Description:
The Birdsong Trail offers wonderful views to the west and north and crosses 6 springs, a pond, and deep forest. There is an abundance of birds, hence the name.
 
Trailhead location:
The Rainbow Trailhead is located at the northwest corner of Rainbow Gardens parking lot (at the mouth of Ogden Canyon) and the other trailhead is located at Fillmore Avenue and 20th Street.
 
Trail history:
The Birdsong Trail was built by Ogden Trails Network and Ogden City and dedicated at the 2006 National Trails Day.
 
Animals you may see:
An abundance of birds can usually be heard singing in the grove just west of the Rainbow Trailhead. Bucks and doe have been sighted looking down from the top of the ridge. Fox and squirrel also live in the area.
